THE FAT CHANCE BLUES BAND AT
VIDEOS!!!
In the 1970's and 80's SIMMONS' DOWNBEAT was Pueblo, Colorado's home of the blues.  Located at
the corner of Evans and Central in the Bessemer area on Pueblo's south side, SIMMONS' DOWNBEAT,
which was then owned by Art and Julia Simmons, was known to have the best in the blues.  The club
changed ownership several times over the years (Club Pizzazz, Sadie's, La Fonda) and as time passed the
blues went by the wayside.

But now after 20 years, THE DOWNBEAT and the blues are coming back to Pueblo!  Beginning Friday,
August 13th, THE DOWNBEAT will feature the EXTREMELY HIGH ENERGY sounds of The Fat Chance
Blues Band belting out the blues EVERY Friday and Saturday night at Pueblo's one and only blues club:
THE DOWNBEAT.

With band leader, and lead singer, George "The Reverend" Rivera on guitar and bass; Andy "Chief" Mora,
on bass, guitar, and vocals; and Manuel "Manny" Calderon, on drums and vocals, it's guaranteed that
if you're lovin' the blues you can't get no better than The Fat Chance Blues Band at . . .
THE DOWNBEAT!!
An EXTREMELY HIGH ENERGY trio,
The Fat Chance Blues Band will be belting out the
blues EVERY Friday and Saturday night
8 pm to Midnight at Pueblo's one and only blues club,
THE DOWNBEAT.
